Project Management

Project managers at Ritza are like cabin attendants on an airplane - they're there to help the rest of the team so they don't need to worry about which tool some information is in and to keep track of everything. But they also "manage the ship" and make sure that things are done as they should be and our deadlines are met.

The Role

As a project manager, you serve two primary functions:

Support the Team

  • Help team members find information across different tools and systems
  • Keep track of where each article is in the publishing pipeline
  • Update project trackers and status reports
  • Check in with writers, editors, and QA engineers for updates
  • Coordinate between different team members to ensure smooth handoffs

Manage the Process

  • Ensure deadlines are met and communicated clearly
  • Monitor the overall health of projects and identify potential bottlenecks
  • Make sure our processes are being followed correctly
  • Escalate issues when necessary
  • Keep stakeholders informed of progress and any changes

The project manager role is essential for maintaining the flow of our publishing pipeline and ensuring that everyone can focus on their specialized work without getting bogged down in coordination overhead.
